Needs another massive game next week if we are to be any chance.

Won't be playing a 37 gamer next week. Playing one of the best couple in the league. Totally different ball game. Our midfield will be super important next week.

The new rules suit him to a tee.

He plays well, we win (must like the regular season games last year).

What a workhorse.

Big test coming up against Grundy. The competitive beast within Nank makes me think that he's circled this one on the calendar.

Its like he wrote the new ruck rules.

Grabbing it makes him a clearance mid.

I love nank.

Aweful thing to say, but if you had to pick rance or nank to miss a year, i wouldnt have to pause for a second to answer

Nanks averaged 3.5 clearances a game in 2018. Had 3 against Blues. I do agree, as important as Rance is, Nanks is even more important to our fortunes in 2019. I shudder Nanks getting seriously injured.

Just sayin’ Nank has played just 60 games and is three years younger and 5cm shorter than Phillips. Besides Grundy was soundly beaten I thought last night.

Wasn't Grundys best game by a long shot but 18 disposals after having only 1 at quarter time, 14 contested, 7 clearances, 34 hit-outs many sublime, is not soundly beaten to me. Nanks will as always provide a real battle but we'll need as a team some tricks up our sleeve to nullify Grundys ruck work.

Stanley had 345m gained to Grundy’s 79m. Those stats are telling. Nanks stats were similar to Stanley’s with 321m but more hit outs. Grundy looked off. Was very tired and couldn’t jump a number of times. Perhaps his interrupted preseason is telling?
