The chop out he is getting from Soldo could prove invaluable come finals time.

i really like what soldo is bringing.

I'm pretty sure the coaches will agree that he plays the remaining 6 games of the year. 8-

26 disposals, 10 contested, 5 clearances, 32 hitouts and a goal. Mammoth numbers.

We managed him well with Soldo to give him a rest before finals but he plays his best as clear no 1 ruck in and around stoppages.

Any talk of including Hampson is very misguided.

Wow. He started slowly too.

We played a witches hats team Barnzy. Finals is a different story. Hampo's the only answer for Nank.

worth noting his opponent was a 19yo 10 gamer (or something) and we totally dominated. plenty of easy possessions for everyone.

6 tackles as well. Huge numbers.

Excels as the number 1 ruck IMO. He may not win the hit outs but he is always in it for the clearance. Also an extra mid around the ground, he has great disposal for a big man

Great game, possibly the best I have seen from him, but as others have pointed out; against a kid today (who will most likely be a star in future, great pick-up by the Dockers).

He still needs better support than just Grigg. I'm hoping Griff can play two more VFL games (last H & A, first final) and be ripe for return AFL final 1.

He had great support in the ruck today. Anyone else see Cotchin in the ruck? And people say we're not desperate for a second ruck

Think he did it to stop being scragged. He was getting p'd off by the very close attention so he nominates in a ruck contest, so no one could scragg him. Not sure it worked though, but thought it was pretty smart.

Yes, that was my take on it.

Nank must be thinking all his Christmases have come at once. And the Tiger Army love him too.
