Nankervis !!

Yep, despite having a height and athletic disadvantage, our man worked his way into the contest and was able to match Ryder's influence.

And he is such an important presence around the ground. Even though he's not taking a heap of contested marks he is making a contest for the mossies to run onto. Needs to stay fit

Brilliant 2nd half. Had 10 contested possies and 6 clearances for the game. He's a fifth midfielder.

Was good in last quarter but sheesh he was towelled up prior to that

Disagree. Lost hitouts convincingly but battle with Ryder at ground level and around the ground was intriguing. Don't forget Ryder also had support from Westhoff, nanks had none.

RYder killed him in the first half, but then Ryder hit a wall and Nank killed him in the 2nd half.

It was a lot like Ali V Foreman in Namibia.

NAnk was Ali.

I've got him in the votes. Dominated over the course of the game. Best game for the club IMO.

It's a common trend with Toby the Nank Engine, he plays a good game but his opponent does too.

Well that's gotta be better than last year when the opposition ruckman always played a good game but ours didnt

For overall team balance we need a second tall forward/ruckman.

Do we bring back Elton after one game from injury? I hope not, I've seen enough until he can show a lot more than what he has.

I'd rather play Soldo in the ruck and Nankervis as the second tall forward. I think Nankervis has the skills to make ago of it.

We need someone to kick down the line to, surely after last night the penny has got to drop, our defenders as good as they are didn't stand a chance, the ball was back down there before they could blink.
