Congratulations on being appointed again as captain. I like the fact it’s a sole captains role this time.

Yeah, I sort of don't mind as long as it's a single player. At least it gives the kids a time to build up leadership to become the next one and Grimo can finally take the burden off his shoulders. Hopefully Nank shows it a bit on-field which has been my main criticism of him.

Nankervis named sole Richmond captain for 2024

You couldve said the same with Nakas.
It wasn't as Nakas any better then Grimes.
Disappointed the captain wasn't given to a up and coming kid like Dusty or Tarranto

Happy with this decision. Nank has grown into the captain’s role and now publically speaks with a lot more confidence. Privately few players would be game to challenge him either

To be honest I'm just inspired by the fact we got rid of the Dual Captaincy BS.

Never works, and screams indecision, and lack of conviction.

Funnily enough very much like the RFC performances whilst it was employed.

The hard-nosed big man averaged 16.7 disposals, 32.4 hitouts, and 5.4 tackles per match last year while also driving standard and helping to improve his teammates behind the scenes.
