Nankervis !!

3-4 weeks, but reckon he will get 4 which he probably deserves. It was a horrible hit.
It was no good but it's certainly not as bad as DeGoey.
However, he will get his 3, then he'll get the 25% RFC added on to keep the outraged happy!

Bottom line is the AFL completely f#%*€d it up by not giving Stewart 6+ for his premeditated hit job!

Have they sent Nank to The Green Mile yet?

The reaction on SEN from the callers is quite amusing.

Yep, I don't think it's much different to Tom Stewart last year who got 4 weeks. Many people here were baying for 5-6 at the time, including yours truly!
Nah, Stewart elbowed Prestia in the face- it wasnt a bump gone wrong. He kept going and stuck his elbow out.

Nank tried to bump a guy who had just disposed of the ball, he tried to hurt him, but he did try to go low. But he got him in the head and concussed him. It is comparable to De Goey's bump, except Nank didnt leave the ground.

Nankenstein, plays ruck, plays as an extra mid, plays as the team enforcer, even sneaks the occasional sausage when nobodies paying attention. Sets the tone and standards for the rest to tag along with, no wonder they added him in as a co captain. Been an outstanding player for us.

Channel 7 played one quick replay from an angle that showed the point of his shoulder chinning the poor bastard

If they dont lose that footage during the week hed take 4 and run

My main concern with Nank is that in addition to missing a few games, he also usually takes a few games to get into form.

I'm hoping for 2, but you'd think he gets the same penalty as De Goey - 3 weeks, which is rough for us. Missing West Coast and Hawks games, whilst not ideal would be ok, but missing the Melbourne one. We need to win at least that or the Saints game to make finals.
Maybe. Gawn has pretty much owned Nank for a while.

3 on a good day, 4 is what I'm expecting. 5 if RFC Tax is applied. Life Ban if Hocking was still in charge.

Still wondering if a player gets reported twice in a match and given weeks for both, are they concurrent or consecutive bans?

Managed to get some photos when I snuck inside AFL house earlier.

I saw Michael Christian arranging Nanks punishment

How is it worse than De Goey's hit where he left the ground and hit the guy flush in the cheek?

If we think Broady's punishment was harsh then we haven't seen nothing yet as they will really hammer Nanks for what was careless but not vindictive. I liked mrposhman's post but was thinking of a straightforward gallows

The risk reward for his action doesn't make sense.

I get the concept of body checking a player to prevent them from continuing on and potentially being involved in the next chain of play, but Nank did it with the finesse of a truck driver on the fourth week of a meth binge hurtling down the freeway.

Surely he's capable of retarding the opposition player without sending them into next week.

Yeah, agree.

And if your gonna knock a bloke out and cop a month, with the game on the line,

Knock out Heeney or Papley.
