Nankervis !!

Was that the other thread? Poor ol' carts certainly fired up late last night. The "wannabe analyst" jibe was good! I might start calling Carts "The Analyst", he should set up on Substack and really monetise that expertise.
If anything it would absorb his time and reduce the number of new pointless threads on PRE

What I did enjoy is a game where he tackled but didn't give away any frees!!

And other than the Port game, in 2023 he is only giving away just over a free a game, down on his usual 2 a game average.

Hopefully this continues, the dumb free has always been a bit of a Nank weakness. understand physicality is a big part of his game, reducing the pointless ones (late hits/puchses after disposal he is apt to do) makes a difference. Kudos Nank.
He does give away some silly ones at times, but also gets plenty paid against him that he never gets for the same thing.
even on Sunday there was a time he had the ball, getting tackled by 2 Giants, and a 3rd started banging him on the top of his head. ball up.

Are you suggesting umpire bias?

Big Nank plays on the edge, and puts the fear of the Allmighty into oppo mids in his vicinity - I can wear a few free kicks against him given these intangible qualities.

On that incident, you could see the ump deliberating about reporting him for headbutting the Giant player's fist

Sure, and I also like to read interesting things on PRE

Unsurprisingly you are never featured

But keep punching whoever you are

Even the Refuter has admitted that previous behaviour by players influences how they are treated by umps. Not sure he used the word bias but that's exactly what it is.
My comment was tongue in cheek.

But players do definitely suffer from reputation/previous actions. Jack is one that appears harshly treated at times because of his past behaviours. Doesn't get many holding frees - and is often penalised for holding his opponent.

Was aware MD. Jack was one of his examples.

4 games back after injury and he's been in our bests for at least two of those.

No surprise that we win more when he plays.

JackR8 laughed when it started to rain.
Knew Nanks would dominate. And he did.
Not bad for a 2nd ruck
