Didn’t like the way Yze spoke about it in the presser. They would have done their stability tests so may have an idea with scans to confirm. Just unbelievably bad luck, and wondering if it’s the same knee as previously which I think is a better outcome

If it’s an ACL I just feel like I’m gonna tune out for the rest of the season . It’s just become too disheartening

Richo wasn't walking after that happened IIRC. Hit the fence and was carried off?
Not sure, but we'll know more after today's scans. He was playing so well last night and had become the focus of our attack in only his first season.

Same here, I fear it's too much for me. I know it sounds stupid but this has been on my mind since it happened.
I was enjoying the game so much last night .
And then it just rips your heart out again .

Would this be a record for a single club having this amount of knee recos?

If my dubious maths is correct, it's 10% of the list?

Shame about all of these long term injuries is that they are missing out on development while we go through this rebuild period

If that's an ACL, it would be the 5th for the Tigers this season. Added to all the other long term injuries. How the hell can one team be that unlucky?

Apart from Rance, did we have a single ACL to a first 22 player during the four dynasty years? I can't remember one? I know Natham Drummond did one in 2017 in the reserves after doing one in 2015, but he was a fringe

Anyhow, on balance when ACLs could have hurt us the most we lucky enough to have avoided them. Tragic for players now, but as a club I guess we can count our blessings.

Soldo in 2020 when that fatty who plays up forward for Geelong shoved Balta into poor Ivans knee.

Gibcus did his landing as well. Someone study LeBron James for how to land on your feet. 39 years old and basically never been injured despite jumping 40" verts every game in contested situations with precarious landing real eastate.

I've been a bit the same. If Gibcus wasn't bad enough, then Moz going down as he was just starting to find his place, and right before Dreamtime. Then add Naismith after all he went through. This feels like the straw that breaks the demoralised camels back if it's an ACL.

yeah, i beyond worrying about when the likes of Taranto, Hopper and Lynch will return, and not to fussed that Bolton will miss a game or 2, but im hating any time one of our "kids" goes down with anything long term.
