We are lucky because there is no way he should have been suspended.
That being said he is hardly on his own in a line of suspended players who should not have been and non suspended players who should have been.

Must have been a tough decision. On the one hand, they wanted to punish Toby for elbowing Bambi’s mother and on the other hand they wanted him free to play against the Antichrist.

Tough choice. I can see why it took so long.

Clutch player is Toby. A favoured non-Richmond player for me....but not for the suits at AFL HQ. The loss of their No. 4 balances out the loss of our No. 4!

Think he was hard done by !
Target player.
Gun.
Has really grown in his ‘captaincy ‘ role this year.
Danger slipped.
He doesn’t slip he elbows him into his chest.

You want the best players playing the game.

Unlucky.

A overhaul is needed at seasons end. I’ve been on this all year.

yeah, they probably cancel each other out. just so deadly around goals and usually plays well against us. It releases Grimes to mark one of their talls or to roam around abit.

So. Any cases arise from last nights debacle?
I think I saw nank glare at the umpires a few times so he could be charged with conduct unbecoming or threatening behaviour. Maybe a few thousand in fines there. Prestia gave away a 50 for abuse so he might get rubbed out for a few weeks. There were a few high tackles throughout the game so I’m sure Christian can pick out at least a couple there to trot out his favourite charge against us - “ potential to cause injury “
I reckon the AFL can squeeze at least another $10,000 in fines out of us in the next week. They better pull their finger out as they won’t have the luxury of spreading it out over September this year

Lynch’s sling on Taylor as Jack’s goal sailed through, probably be 3 or 4 weeks

Grimes will go straight to the tribunal for that life threatening forearm to the back of himmelbergs shoulder, hopefully Himmelberg makes a full recovery and can play rd 1 next season

Grimes should be suspended just for attempting to move off the line when the Umpire told him to stand and forgot to call play on until the guy had waltzed past him. The look on Grimes’ face was very disrespectful. We all saw it at home.

BTW, Himmelberg did not even react to the forearm jolt. He only reacted to the whistle.
