The AFL has decided on some rule and draw changes for the 2020 season.AFL chief Gil has said these changes are necessary and for the good of the game.We are introducing penalty points. The RFC will play no home games at the MCG next year but will play their games at Docklands. The season opener will be against the Bulldogs followed by North Melbourne. Then Brisbane in Brisbane, eagles in Perth,Port in Adelaide, freo in Perth,Adelaide in Adelaide, then Geelong in Geelong. The grand final rematch will be in sydney the following week.Richmonds first home game for the season will follow after that being against the Pies at Docklands.Given that RFC debuted a player in this years grand final and he played well there will be no access to the next draft and Alex Rance will be deemed a required player at another club. Finally given that RFC also won the reserves competition all players will be limited to a maximum of five senior games next year.
As mentioned earlier we deem this for the good of the game and it is without prejudice.
