Or did mother nature blow it all on Innisfail?And has got nothin left to sprinkle on my newly planted beetroots and carrots?Not to mention this insaitable sesire to TUCK INTO SOME LOVELY GIPPY MUSHIES......

mother nature,s obviously feeling a bit knackered at the minute...or she,s obviously bought tickets in the Corporate sector.....at thje "G"to watch the closing ceremony.......

Bloody hell, Commonwealth games and you could not of got better weather down here. Absolutely fantastic for all involved and great to get out and about. I cant understand anyone whinging about the weather or so called lack of if there is such a thing.....

Just cant wait to get the first autumn rain so I can hook into some grouse Gippsland mushies,thats all Tuby mate...I know Im selfish,self centred,self opiniated and bloody hard to please......by the way...the weather has been SENSATIONAL......cheers mate ;D

Its heaven.......ive missed this.....stumped up with a nice hot cuppa coffee......and some teddybears,choclate cookies and butternut snaps.....and the Kanara,s blazing away merrily........with the marshmallows on standbye.......Hooraye! :clap

I could have told you that the weather would turn nasty today Nitro as my son has gone down to Phillip Island for a grade 6 School Camp.

You smooth talking devil nitro. ;D I'm off to light my fire now too. It's not overly cold here, and we've had no rain, but feel like snuggling up by the fire listening to some music.

We're shearing this week so I might take the phone off the hook in case I get a call to afternoon shift in the shed. :whistle

Bloody Victoria ....big joke till someone,s gotta light a fire.....
The temp got down to -2dgrees c this morning.....still 5 dgrees c now....Whats the go......with my beanie,trackydaks,gummboots,flannellette shirt,t shirt,woollen shirt....I look like a flamin farmer rapper......fair dinkum......it was so cold.....
I had to melt the fire so I could boil the water........ :help
Sometimes I wish I was a BLOODY sheep! :-X

Me too mk. Have just put 2 new dams in and not a drop of water in them yet. Have had some ripper frosts and yukky fogs. I wish someone told me orchid flowers are frost tender. Had 8 really big spikes before I went to C/down for the weekend and came back to a wilted soggy mess.
