Stinking hot, really strong wind here, trees down everywhere, fires breaking out all around.

Was a ripper thunder storm last night just the same. Apart from the havoc it created it was an awesome display and the loudest thunder I've ever heard.

In the western district today, total fire ban, very smokey gaze about the sky and can smell smoke from the fires at the Grampians 2 hours away. Dad said with north wind and the sky reminds him of Ash Wednesday. he has at the fire shed today, hopefully he finds no reason to leave today as it is not pleasant.

When was the last time we had so many days over 40c? Adelaide and The Alice have been copping it big time too. Perhaps we should all do a rain dance ;D

Feel sorry for the elderly and those who don't have air con :'(

tell me about it went to the city to see billy connolly on saturday got in there at 11 am walked around till about 5 pm when they opened the doors which was not for his show but something else but the let me in which was good cause i was sick of walking in the heat

hopefully cool change or wind drop soon for all those fighting bushfires

BOM on ABC radio now says cool change may be earlier at about 6pm
Unfortunately the temp drop inland isn't as great as on the coast.

Cool Change here at home at Camperdown, 1hr inland 2hrs from Melbourne
Wind dropped considerable
Looks like rain to the North
The boys have been called out as some small fire around the district.

It's still in the 30's here now and total fire ban for our area again tomorrow. :'( (That's sweat not tears ;D )

My Mum rang me this morning (9.00 am in Denmark, 7.00 pm in Mildura where she was) and there was 55 degrees difference in the weather in those two places at the time. It was 43 in Mildura and minus 12 here !!!

What's the weather like in everyone else's neck of the woods? We're still suffering days over 35 here and I've had enough. Hot, dusty, dry, windy, brown, depressing Autumn.

35.9 degrees in Lang Lang.....but....its SOOOOO COOOOOOL in this nice house here....thinkin about whackin on the spa and havin a soak...with a few well...cooled tinnies of V.B.and a bottle of moe chandon for the females....Ayonone wanna come and join me? ;D :hihi ;D
