Marsh Rd 2 v Gee Whiz

Stupid afl.com headline ‘grand final revenge’.
They think a Pre-season game makes up for a premiership??

They can live in their dream world, we all know which club has its name on the 2019 cup.

I couldn't give a s*** what they say.

Really enjoyed the game. Umpires let it go, everyone had a good hit out, commentators were talking us up the whole game. Thought we played quite well.
As long as Lambert is all good, I'm happy.

I’m sure this makes GWS feel better.

I think we’ll starting a new rivalry here.
Had some feeling in the game, both sides dishing out some niggle.

Hope to beat these *smile* agin in the GF

Defence looked uncharacteristically shaky. Vlastuin and Grimes fumbling, Broad punching when could have marked.

Let's hope they are back on for round 1

Most worrying was GWS' ability to cut holes in our defence with the short chip kick i50.
Took away our strength of intercept marking (Floss, Grimes, Astbury).
Every other team will be unpacking that & we'll need to adjust.

One commentator in particular kept comeing back to grand final comparrisons - got really boring listening to him

Only watched first quarter so far and 2 x Rioli and 1 George goal left on the ground - pretty easy shots too so not too concerned...

Suggest there may be one too many offensive players playing in D50 . Both Houli Stacky and Short were wanting to rebound too often without any respect for opponents . Keep in mind Toby kicked 5 easy goals .and Coniglio 2 when inside F50

just home from Wagga trip, thoroughly enjoyable ,great contest , cold beer & warm day - missus packed sunscreen for me but neglected to apply it so I now have a huge red snoz !!, well huger & redder than normal

Thought the umps whilst not perfect were better than last week.

Marlion looks the goods, although that laconic loping stride got him caught badly once

Thought the skip & Dusty were good, the bookends did their job.

Tried Dow in the guts a couple of times again & he looks like he can make it

Big highlight for me was not Stack's grab, it was the continued emergence of Callum Coleman Ottens, he will be a ripper , just hope its for us and not those west of our border

If it was September instead of March

they would've been lucky to kick 3 goals.
