Marsh Rd 2 v Gee Whiz

Probably a good result considering we looked like we weren’t really trying. Haven’t seen the ball come out of our forward line that easy since 2016. We applied very little pressure in that area.

That's the impression I was left with - today was about working on our ball movement (which wasn't great last week), not so much on stopping theirs.

We turned up the pressure at various times throughout the game. And when we did their kicking efficiency went through the floor.

Nothing to worry about people. It’s March and the Ferrari is still parked in the garage.

Nice analogy. Like an F1 practice session. Couple of laps at race speed. Back in the pits. Tweek, tune, try something different. Back out for a couple of laps.

Qualifying starts in two weeks. The race starts after the bye.

I thought there was enough to think we are tracking ok , september is a long way away ,

And i kind of dont mind we have lost both games after the euphoria of a premiership ,

Might help to bring us back down to the reality of what is required in the now to win football games

As we know from last year.
It's a the long game that we've played to our advantage 2 out of the last 3 years.
Bank wins early in season, pick your battles and get the team purring about 1 month out from the finals.
next stop round 1 and the unfurling of our well earned 12th Premiership flag.

Yeah after he was pinned for a *smile* deliberate out of bounds. Square up.

They still owe us about 20.

I agree. OOB was BS. But Grimes should have been pinged for HTB as should have Haynes. Umpiring does seem to get worse and worse.

Nice Sunday afternoon hit out and another good opportunity to blow out the cobwebs.
Clearly this game meant so much more to GeeWhiz than our boys.
Cameron is a dog and a coward, hope he enjoys a week or two on the sidelines!!

Now time to focus on 19th March; unfurl the Premiership flag and smash the Blooze!

CCJ looking like a hot prospect although a lot of game time against a short bloke but he just knows where to be at the right times. Thought he's been a lot more damaging than Soldo actually. Castagna is the most frustrating player, skills and awareness just gets to me. Big Lynch looks a little short on form or confidence atm. Dusty is just a beast. Best in the league by a country mile imo.
Lynch - must be the stress of doing a full pre-season.

A practice game used as such by the Tigers. I don't think we have anything to worry about come round one. On the contrary I think the future looks bright

Dermie saying the ump was blindsided. Er no, when you see it from behind he would have seen both arms push straight into the middle of the back. The blind **** had an unobscured view of it.

I am amazed by the negativity?

1. It's a practice game!
2. I've never ever ever seen a Tiger team so confident (watch Dusty, Edwards, Houli, Lynch, Jack, Cotch through SoO and now Marsh?). They (at times) simply toyed with GWS!!!
3. Put simply this team feels it's ready for a 3-peat! (in 4 years)

A practice game in Wagga means NOTHING!!!!

Watch the Tigers when they turned it on>>........

Even Castagna, Baker, Astbury and other (lesser lights?) are so ready to take on season 2020!

Let alone Pickett, Stack, Soldo, Baker, Broad, Short, CCJ ......................

I have never enjoyed a pre season so much in my LIFE!!!!

Go TIGERS!!!
