Now saying on SEN it isn't Rodney Eade. His manager said he hasn't spoken to Freo and Brad Hardie saying it isn't Rocket.

Ross Lyon now firming again...

Apparently Freo told Harvey...we have an opportunity too good to pass up,
 
He is going to join Essendon, they only need billy duckworth & Ronnie andrews and they can have a 1985 premiership reunion!!
He was a s...t coach! I'm surprised he lasted this long!

Apparently he has spoken to people...Mark Harvey, Rodney Eade. How believeable is he? God knows. But this is quite entertaining!
 
I just wonder if the Footy Show has authority in announcing who the coach is in these breaking stories.

If you announce a coach is sacked, what's holding a club from announcing who's taken over? Or is the answer left to the Footy Show to boost ratings?
 
And they said we were ruthless in sacking coaches. :p
Never thought much of Harvey as a coach anyway.

Reports on twitter that Lyon has quit the Saints.

Eade on air at the time saying it is not him.
 
Proves 2 things.

1) Melbourne is useless no-one wants to coach them
2) Ross Lyon is a bigger 2 faced prick than I thought....Saints better off with Eade.

Ross Lyon will be announced as the new Fremantle coach after Mark Harvey was sensationally sacked by the Dockers late today.

The Age understands the Saints were informed today by Lyon that he would no longer be coach of the club.

St Kilda, which is holding a board meeting tonight, did not comment on Lyon's shock departure to Fremantle.

I guess Lyon is getting out while he can and realises Saints are on the slide. Smart but at the same time kind of dodgy.
