Heard Eade whilst he was being interviewed on radio last week.

Stated he wanted to continue coaching at senior level and would be prepared to move interstate to do so.

Fair chance he would already have been approached by Freo by that time.

i dont understand how people can say Harvey is a chump. He has played a big part in turning that club around and there is no doubt in my mind they were finals bound barring injuries.

no doubt the new coach will sweep in next year and be lauded for taking them into the finals.

this stinks of st kilda and the whole blight situation. someone who has come into the club and given it a rocket that it needed only to be shafted cause the powers that be cant handle the truth!

Interesting. Didn't see that coming. One can only speculate but maybe it has something to with their abnormal amount of injured players this year. At one point they could literally barely field a team. Maybe he pushes players too hard or ignores medical advise, I dunno. I don't think on-field results would have much to do with it. Last year they finished in finals and did okay, anyone with their injuries to key players would've struggled this year.
