Lynch !!

We are playing Carlton

Lynch will probably get Jones

Its like a training session for Tom

Training against Rance, Astbury and Grimes playing Carlton would be like stepping down a grade

And I reckon it won’t hurt Rance’s game to train on Lynch.
Some of the bigger boys have got on top of Rance.
Yep.
It goes into the ether and his reputationn stands above it but Rance is manhandled at times by the bigger blokes.
Even Josh Jenkins has ragdolled him with absolute ease.

Report from Caesar at training this morning:

" Lynch spent 20 minutes in rehab with Caddy, and never got out of 1st gear and has now left the track and did nothing with main group.
On observations no way he plays Thursday unless they are holding him back for final session Tues? "

That would be a management thing of what he does. Very similar to what they did with Prestia. Getting game time into him is the important thing now.

Thanks Taz

From the limited vision i've seen, while moving ok, he has looked a bit proppy.

Look it could be management although I haven't seen Lynch sit out a session in the last 3 weeks. I understand he supposedly trained well Thursday and then got up at the season launch on Friday night and declared he should be playing some level of footy next Thursday. With no training between launch and this morning's session you wouldn't have thought things would have changed but you never know.
Interesting on the attached interview with Dylan Grimes BEFORE this morning's session he was asked about Lynch and said he should be close and didn't have any concerns, the reporter followed up with is this the main session where Tom needs to prove his fitness or not? Grimes didn't give him anything other than saying they would pretty much know going into this session where Tom is at.
Hopefully I see him training fully on Tuesday regardless of whether he is named or not.

Could be management, if he doesn't train on tues i'd reckon we can rule him out of Rd 1.

Smoke and shadows behind the windows!
Absolutely it is. Imagine the difficulty Carlton will be having trying to work out who goes to Jack and and who goes to Lynch. And what will Richmond do if he does play? Or will they play Balta also as that third tall??

Hardwick declares it 3 weeks ago at our first JLT. As soon as Lynch says he is ready he plays. Declaration was made last week. Lock him in.

I reckon the big fella runs out Thursday night in the big one. Met him in December and is truly w lovely blocke. Sanding next to him (compared to Nick V, who also paid us a visit) is just a massive unit. Very much in the Richo build.

I think absolute ease is bit of an exaggeration. You're talking about the first half last year against Crows at their ground?
Well Rance pansed him in the second half with ease. You couldn't surely be talking about 2017 GF.
Rance is 194cm and comes up against guys who have 3 cm and 10kg on him. He won't win every one on one. No one can but he's the best full back we've ever had and not sure why some people perpetuate the myth that he's no good one on one?
Rejoice in the positives. He won't be around for ever

Yep Josh Jenkins is so overrated by some. Had 2 good games against Tigers last year with 5 and 3 goals, his 2nd and 3rd highest hauls for the season but in his previous 5 matches against us over 4 seasons he kicked just 5 goals. For his size he's a bit of a pussy.

So Dimma confirms that Lynch will do some secondary ruck work.

Said it as soon as we got him that I expected him to and get howled down.

Between Balta & Lynch we have retooled the secondary ruck spot.
