Lynch !!

Due to his long term injury I reckon these a-holes will just go through the motions and give him 3 weeks.

How many weeks if McKay's name is Lynch? *smile* I am so over it.
Whateley and Derm agreed once Lynch decided to brace to protect himself, well you are not allowed to do that and once he did dity if care is with him and he is liable. I swear that is what was said.
WTAf have we got to…? From now on it is jump knees in and put arms up - that is all, even if can’t touch the ball

To reduce the risk of future concussions, there should probably be more discussion around what a defender should / shouldn't expect when choosing to put his body in front of a runaway train

Defenders still have an incentive to throw caution to the wind, so future collisions will be inevitable if the focus remains squarely on suspending forwards

Lynch was protecting himself.
The Footscary player came front on into the contest, wasn't he expecting contact??
Where's his duty of care??
Lynch broke his foot in that contest.

Be ye moral (pity thee) or be ye practical there is only one issue here - what is the diagnosis for Lynch?

Off my left [or right] foot, the one with the fractured metatarsal.
As I posted above, according to Whateley and Derm once he decided to protect himself in this way by bracing and turning, he had a duty of care. Amazing stuff. Just get spiflicated or get suspended wtf

Exactly what MOST of us have been saying.

Surely a player is entitled to protect himself from possible injury. Keath was the one who was reckless, charging into a contest he had absolutely no chance of winning.

Could we have asked the Carlton lawyer if he was doing anything later tonight? Maybe a quick cashy for a few hours work

That seems like a moral matter to me, Merv. No comprende.

After a diagnosis we can play smart and say that TJL, in the course of his dangerous employment, sustained a fractured metatarsal and lost balance.

Let the moral AFilthL deal with that. Oh. Meanwhile he's not playing anyway.
