Lynch !!

So why is there not a report from bloody Hurly saying he was staging in an attempt to get a free. What happened to player integrity and helping out in these type of reports. Dare i say that Hurly is just a wanker

"the immediate response was genuine and spontaneous. And if there was no contact to his throat at all, as Mr Lynch suggests, it was a somewhat miraculous piece of quick thinking to clutch at the very area it sure looked like contact was made to. He had to, in a millisecond, this would look to somebody as if this was a blow to his throat ... that is, you might think, rather unlikely."

On the basis of this alone - staging cannot be sanctionable because in the AFL's own words it's not possible to think so quickly.
Vlastuin must be thinking WTF?!

They want to suspend the bloke. If they make it sound this bad then they look generous when they give him a ‘light’ sentence of a week or two.

Has Lynch got legal representation?

yes, he does have counsel.

This is how the justice system works and the tribunal is no different. It's about how lawyers can twist evidence to make the strongest argument. It's not about the truth. Nothing different about this case, they are all run like this.

I think Hurley has proved that’s what he is both on and off the field in the past.

Yeah funny that.

Who is this *smile*?

Hurley should have been sighted for staging, throwing his head back, exaggerating the contact to his neck that started with a forearm across the upper chest. Didn't notice any commentators bring that up.

Expect about 15mins or so for the deliberation just in time for the sport segment of the news for a live verdict

Does not gel with the witch hunt mentality of this whole case - the AFL need the Hurly action to say he was rabbit punched in the throat and Lynch was trying to take his head off

Fingers crosssed

Tribunal chairman David Jones: "There's been quite a bit of publicity and media comment about this matter and Tom Lynch's position in general. You ignore that and you have to determine the matter on the evidence before you." Lynch's record is "not relevant" to the Hurley incident

Exactly the same as Vlasty's, only problem is the dumpire paid Vlasty a free, then a 50. The dumpire should be fined not Vlasty
