You'd hope if you were North that "multi year" is only 2. Imagine giving a 32 year old who's had a big drop off their best the last 2 seasons a 3 year deal!! Plus they are going to need to trade for him as he isn't out of contract.

How many of those are West Coast paying for? It's not that bad a deal if North aren't paying much. They've got an a pretty good bunch of kids that need some experience around them for the next 2-3 years until they come into their own. They also need to take some pressure off Larkey. Darling at least adds someone else that needs defending
I’m not sure getting a guy who’s now a 32 yr old hack who’s on a severe decline on $800,000 for season 2025 is the definition of a Moneyball recruit. A Moneyball recruit would be Matt Taberner on less than half this.
He's on 800k next year ,but won't get that in 2026,probably more in the 5-600k ,which isn't entirely money ball,but for a experienced premiership player it's smart money
