If he can get the ball in the middle of the ground, outrun scott burns then kick a goal from 50, all in a silver taxi jumper, he will have arrived ;)
 
Hoping that tonight being McBean's debut in the yellow and black, that this game will forever be scribed in the annals of history as the start of a champion career of one of the best forwards of all time and that he also becomes a fine ruckman/fwd ala Dean Cox in the next few years.

Not asking too much am I?

If he becomes a champion, call be Nostrabeanus, otherwise Skillz will do.
 
Unfortunate that McBean will be debuting in the shadow of the transformed Griffin.
 
i think we all have to remember he has just joined the main training group a couple of weeks ago.... He's really only been training for a much shorter time than most of the player group having a full pre season so lets not bag the beanie if he does kick 10!!!

I agree with you ROCK. There are a lot of people that have made him out to be a superstar. Superstar he ain't.
 
He was run off his feet from the first contest and flat-footed when he needed to charge. Modified pre-season off a low base was obvious.


It'll be a while before he can face Djokovic over 5 sets but Stan proved this year that you can get there when you're seasoned enough.
