Castagna, Townser, Lambert, Broad, K Mac, Grimes are not silky players, all had a role and all did their roles to the letter.

Thats why we won the Grand Final, we fielded a team of goers who did their jobs nothing more and played team footy and played for each other thats why we won.

The great Lions triple title side want blessed with silk apart from Akker, Lappin, Black, White, McCrae, and Johnston etc they were a hard side with toughness and presence, they were not pretty they just steam rolled the opposition.

The Scotts, Crazy Vossy, Brownie, Mal Michael, Leppitsch, Alistair Lynch, Clark Keating, Pike, Headland, Hart, Ashcroft, Bradshaw, Copeland, all workers.

The debate might not be solved till we see how these players back it up over the next year or two playing and winning hopefully more finals.

Liam won the SANFL Ken Farmer medal with a total of 46 goals.

Maybe we should look at getting him back.....

Sporting of Liam to rest in the last round to give his teammate a chance to win the medal.

Liam finally gets some September action. Took last year off and has come back and won the SANFL goal kicking and Glenelg sits top of the ladder.

I saw this bump and thought, “That can’t be good”.

Happy to see it is good news for McBean.
 
McBean and Joe Daniher were mates when they were younger and shared a house together when playing AFL.
Critics always said one would be a star and the other would be lucky to get a game.

Glad to see it was McBean who made it

Beanie's still young enough. Wonder if he harbours any thoughts about having another crack at AFL now he's matured a bit? A mob like StKiddenme or similar could use a ready made tall forward with a bit of experience.
