Kane McAuliffe

He did do well, his hair and even his appearance a little bit, reminded of a young Jack Riewoldt. Not as tall though, how tall is he?
He’s just on 6’.
Liam has great spacial awareness and dancing feet.
Steve Morris a massive wrap and has guaranteed him a spot in the curtain raiser game this coming Thursday at the G.
Liam is also best mates with Nick Watson from Hawthorn

Would like to see this kid play this week. Great attitude and strong body for an 18yo. Not scared. Replaces Dow for mine.

Prestia wont get dropped after 1 bad game , He has a proven track record and a quality player

Rested - yes due to his history with soft tissue's
What did he do yesterday? You couldn't be more relaxed after his efforts.
You can't do a soft tissue injury walking

I'd just be worried about expecting him to play a full game in the middle while our midfield is weak enough to not be able to protect him fully, the go these days for promising first year mids seems to be letting them take a bit of time in the middle but plenty of time on the back flank where they can act as a distributor & get a feel for the speed of the full game.

It's tough to know who to swap him for if we do that, but I think it might be a better option than throwing him right in the deep end

I did an achilleas walking down the stairs at home

bloody double storey homes
I had a "fall" coming down the stairs whilst holding my daughter duriing covid lockdowns and had bruising in my knee joints and stress in my shin. It's not been the same since.
*smile* double storey houses.

Recently moved from a double storey to single storey.

Now I don't have to walk back up or down the stairs because I'd forgotten something. Now it's only to the other end of the house :)

But seriously, I did have a couple of mishaps on those stairs.

Not protect him fully? Taranto and Hopper are two big boys in there, with Dusty also back. He would have more than enough big bodies in there to protect him from the rough and tumble imo (If he even needs it!!) He ain’t no skinny lightweight, and goes at the contest with no fear.
Only endurance and experience can hold him back at this point and he won’t get the experience if we don’t play him.
Intriguing that he was removed from the VFL game at half time on Saturday. Was it due to fitness, or hopefully saving him for a debut this week after they’d seen enough to think him worthy. Prestia may well be rested due to short turnaround so hope this kid replaces him.
