Kane McAuliffe

Hype train living the station in 3 minutes.... all aboard.

While exciting, keep in mind he was a pick in the 40's in a bad draft.

If we get a Jack Graham level player it's a win.

Toot, toot. But not that guy...
It takes at least three years to judge a draft and you are calling it bad already ??

Be good to see a player actually really forge a long successful career in the #28 at the RFC.

Push Up King and Peter Czekaski the only real longer-term wearers of it apart from the Strang's.

Merenda started in it then switched to 8. and most recently , Gibbus, Higgins and Taylor Hunt had it for a couiple of seasons
It's a sh!t number.

Czerkaski 46 games. McQueen my favourite no28 nearly got him too

Apart from the great tackle on Petracca he didn't seem to be involved much. Anyone got any idea how many minutes he actually played? Didn't seem like a lot.
was a bit confusing because he went from 28 to 21 after period 4, and it took me a while to realize it was him in the 21. also the commentators lost track once he changed tops too

Didn't play a lot in the 1st 4 quarters (maybe half of Quarter 4), but played all of 5-7 (bar rest breaks), but was manned up a lot on Oliver. Good for his development, but didn't lead to him standing out much.

Great thanks. I was sure struggling to pick him up.

Thought he’d play a bit more, didn’t notice him. Easing into it and probably not as ready as we thought

I‘m pleading ignorance on this lad. We desperately need mids who can play at the coalface, Rowell yesterday was walking it out of stoppage. However I haven’t seen a moment yet that make me think he is ready. Will defer to others who think he is ready. Mids can get thrown in early and make a fist of it.

They took him off in the second half yesterday in the VFL practice match.
This is a telling signal, suggest he does indeed play this week.

How did he go in the first half? We need his clearance ability desperately but we shouldn't have to rely on an 18yo
If he’s got it and it seems he does
Considering what we’re getting atm I don’t care if he’s 18 play him

Quite a few players only played a half. Perhaps because of the heat conditions?
My mates son, Liam George, replaced him in the middle after half time and did very well.
He did do well, his hair and even his appearance a little bit, reminded of a young Jack Riewoldt. Not as tall though, how tall is he?
