Juniors to watch - 2012

3 games on the SANFL site today if anyone is interested:

Is it just the stats or do they have a stream? I really like Dunstan for next year. 25 touches today. McDonough I reckon could go anywhere from 20-60ish. In other words I got no idea.

Had a lot of fans on here did Grigg, especially when he was supposed to have "dropped" so much at draft time.

Assume his lack of pace is making it hard for him to make inroads.

Think he had some attitude issues and wasn't putting in hard yards at under 18 level. Would only be worse at AFL level. In hindsight glad we avoided.

How did Nason go?

Goldilocks got 1 possession in the last quarter that I noticed playing bloody 3rds footy. How he got AFL games is beyond me!

Isn't the '3rds' the under 18's?

According to the inside footy draft scribe we are keen on Jackson Macrae at 9. No surprise there, would be a handy outside Wing, HF that racks up the possies. Not dissimilar to Steele Sidebottom who went at a similar number in Vickery's year.

I would love Macrae at 9 but think he'll go earlier.
I used to play cricket with his old man; great keeper, top fella and a great leader too.

From what I've seen, Macrae has a suspect kicking action. Will it stand up in the pressure of AFL footy?
