Josh Caddy

He's not a midfielder. Too slow, not agile and crap below his knees.

It's HF or nothing IMO. Is quite handy at the role but out of form.

Nah. Finals will be a grind.

The games we’re seeing right now are pinball. Cads is obviously unsuited to this.

He’ll be ok come September.

I reckon his form has tailed right off in the last six weeks.

Not sure what's happened to him. His goal kicking is sensational - I wish he could get his hands on it more often

Its very simple, I trade him into my supercoach team on the back of good performances and he's been shizen ever since so I put the stuffed it up for him. Sorry JC, my bad.

If C Ellis isn't the one, I'd send Josh into the midfield to play Graham's inside defensive role. Sure we'll lose something in terms of offensive output but his big body should help win some clearances where we are having issues. Want more midfield time? Throw him the challenge.
Get on your bike Josh.

Good idea.

I thought it was amazing how slow GWS made the slow blokes look

I say get some elastoplast , strap Jacky boy Graham up and send him back out, there’s only one Jack Graham

How good is this guy? He looks so slow but breaks away from opponents at will. Super important for our structure.

Mid season was a lock for AA in the forward line.

With a recent dip back to normality is he still in the squad of 40??

With the dropping of Towner and the non selection of Moore I’d say Caddy and Dusty playing more forward is the plan for September, a fit Prestia an Graham allows this option

A lock for the side is a bit of a stretch. Perhaps he was in the 40 man squad. Doubt he is now.

Jack/Cotch/Martin/Rance/Shank/Astbury/Grimes/Valstuin should all be in the 40 man squad. Lambert & Short may be talked about but doubt they make the 40.

Think that's the plan for Saturday but not sure about September. Think there's a bit to go yet re final composition of the team. Short and Higgins are now in the best 22 and it would seem that Townsend and one of Eliis, McIntosh or even Butler will be the unlucky two to miss out (injuries notwithstanding). Not to mention the many other players we have at VFL level that could also play plus Conca who was in the best 22 before injury. Still think we're a tall player short up forward, but the current structure won us a flag in 2017 and may well do it again this year.

He was 4th in the Coleman at round 11 of the season with 27 goals and 1 goal off equal 3rd.

I considered him a lock if his form had continued.

Yeh, if he ended up 4th on the goal kicking at years end as a flanker would have been hard to keep him out.

I reckon this is spot on (and have said it in a few other threads).

We gave Moore a look and he's clearly not ready. Townsend hasn't rediscovered his hot form from the end of last year. With Dusty playing more forward (70:30 split?), our midfield still consists of: Cotchin, Prestia, Lambert, Edwards, Grigg, Graham, Higgins and Conca (?).

With graham conca and prestia out has had to play more midfield and his form has dropped off a bit. Should play more forward now and hopefully can find his mid season form again.

Was dominant today. Watched the game & just watched the highlights again. He is slowly turning into an elite fwd. Must be close to all Australian...
