Josh Caddy

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Was never a fan of his recruitment. Still aren't. Geelong aren't stupid.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy is cooked. Geelong knew exactly what they were doing.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Looks like a tough bastard but is anything but. Plastic tough guy poster boy.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Thought he was one of our best players. In our top 5 on the day.

Seemed to get more midfield time in the 3rd or 4th and I remember him getting a strong clearance, I'd like to see him get more midfield time in Prestia's role, but we don't have another forward to contest in the air like he's asked to do, do we?

Leta hope Townsend can deliver so much more than 20 touches and a goal every week. I doubt it though but his VFL form.demands he be given a go

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy and Townsend are similar types of players, in my opinion. Similar size. Similar foot skills. Similar pace. Similar abilities.
Just that Townsend is probably harder at the footy and the contest than Caddy.
Townsend is by no means a favoured player by me, but it could be that the midfield needs some support and some muscle to lighten the increasingly heavy load and buffeting Cotchin in particular is receiving.
Sort of bugs me that the list is in such a shape that we are discussing the merits of Caddy versus Townsend for a spot in the team.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I only want to see Caddy play forward today. With Miles in the team no reason for him to be on the ball.

Caddy can play as our third tall, and with his blocking and preparedness to use his body he should create chances for our smalls to do their work.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Can we please sack the clueless flog that recruited him and also the one that keeps playing him!

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Bubble boy
Can't mark
Can't jump
Can't kick

What a recruit

He is doing lots of good blocking and competing. :p

The tackle bag.

Never seen a bloke get tackled as often as this bloke. Every time he gets it he's tackled

Have you ever seen a hot air balloon break a tackle?
