Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Did anyone see what happened with his 'shot' at goal in the first quarter? Was at the ground and there was no reply, but it looked like he dropped it onto his standing foot or something. Pretty costly as from what was a gettable shot for us the Blues broke and scored.

That was an attempted pass to Prestia, 40m out. The turnover resulted in a Carlton goal. I almost broke my hand punching the seat in front of me

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He is a bit a spud for sure. IF he was a better overhead mark it might be ok.

Seems every disposal is had while being tackled

That's because he's so bloody slow!

I just don't know about him. Does some good things but do they outweigh the howlers caused by dumb decision making? I wasn't a fan of recruiting him and haven't really seen anything to sway me as yet.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

137 metres gained for his 22 disposals. That's 6 metres per disposal. That tells me he's just mainly giving off short handballs. 6 turnovers as well.

Hard to gain too much when you're handballing off the bottom of packs.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddyhack was back - plenty of shockers yesterday. Amazing some can identify that game as solid!!

Well he did have 14 handballs and a kick that went 30cm.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Soooooo slow and instead of being evasive to make space (aka Mitchell / Cripps) he runs at the tackler trying to bowl them over. So frustrating........

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Watch the replay does a stack of inside grunt work. With all our outside runners his grunt work is really needed

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Lots of bash and crash, great blocking for others both in the forward line and on ball.
