Jack Watts

He may have been drunk, that's a possibilty. As for his retirement, that's hardly a surprise if you've been watching his career, incident or not,

Port managed it well, true. I just don't get the perpetual outrage and playing the victim on this site.

Wattsgate got nothing on Watergate.

They got him out before the story broke so it wouldnt cause a distraction.
Especially after the ladhams and Houston incident.
Sweep it under the carpet if it's one of your duds.

go and read ToO's post again.
My ensuing post to this one was meant to be a reply to this but I hit the wrong one being late, was tired and heading for bed, so I just left it. But maybe you need to read ToO's post #92.
Seems many agree with him (and me). :)

Missing it again. Is it a custom ... or something else?
A possibility? I wonder why he didn't wait around, call the police, see if he could find the driver of the car he smashed into?
Didn't bring his retirement forward, maybe by a year or more? No, of course not.

It's not about 'perpetual outrage and playing the victim on this site.' It's about media consistency or the lack of, and media agendas. Who and what drive them? What's the aim?
Port have only managed it well if the media fail to shine the light and expose their falsity. An obvious causal link (to most who can think a little).

And it’s a PA in a two team town ...
And Adelaide finished last.

Some people have a different opinion to me? Oh no, whatever shall I do.

That's also not my point. PRE is mostly about opinions, something I really enjoy.
It's that I don't think I misread ToO's post. Simple. And also that the media and AFL have a whole different agenda when it comes to RFC.

Look at how two silly young men copped a penalty for their Covid breaches more than double what Colonwood's Sidearse did following Buckley/Sanderson's as well (all leaders). Continually reported as involved in brawling when the truth was that a drunken yobbo attacked them while trying to eat their stupid kebab.

The only thing that surprised me about his retirement was that he was still on an AFL list at all.
