Jack Ross

Vanilla accumulator.

Could we get a better replacement? Yes
Is he losing us games being out on the park? No
Do I think he has improvement in him - yes, but probably only a little. He's a much better version of Matt Arnot.
Short sighted view. He needs a trusted run similiar to that afforded Castagna. The kid has the goods he just needs to be trusted so that one mistake wont be scrutinized into the VFL

I don't think he should be in the VFL Rinso. But I also don't think he's turning into Tom Mitchell anytime in the next 15 years either.

That’s nasty big fella, Matt Arnott lol one of the worst AFL players we’ve had, super hard at man, not so much at ball .

I think Jacks going ok, however as others have said there’s no X factor , just a good honest player, I’m not writing him off yet I think he’s got improvement in him , however going forward I have Dow, Martyn and RCD in front of him

IMHO toooooooooooooooooooooooo slow for a midfielder. Getting caught on the Southern Stand (AFL Members) side was laughable.

What was that crap in the 3rd? Running into the 50, about to kick, stops, looks at giving off a handball, changes mind, tries to kick, gets tackled, Geelong rush it up the other end and kicks a goal.
Amazing

Meh. A nothing player. Doesnt break the lines. Slow decision making. Kicking is average. No speed. Gets caught too often. Plodder and list clogger. Showed promising signs in his first year as an extractor then decided to lose his muscle and strength and has found himself as that inbetween average player. Should have bulked up and played the Cripps role

NOT good enough IMHO.

Geez that inability to make a decision was terrible in the 3rd q. Reminded me of the 90s

Not a winger. If you need a winger play naish. Ross is an inside mid or nothing.

Started the game quite well, I thought but wasn't that effective as the game wore on.
He will stay in as the injuries mount. In the early stages of his career I thought the Tigers had unearthed a good player, but that foot injury seems to have cruelled him a bit.
As some others have said he needs to find another gear and grasp this opportunity well.
Or it may not augur so well for his future at RFC.
