Yeah, good ordinary game from a good ordinary footballer. Worked his way into it.

If Hopper's out he might get a chance in the centre square next week. I'd like to keep Dion in the Lamblet role.

I like what he brings to the table, hes neat with his disposal and is learning quickly to play within his limitations (ie simple kicks and handballs) which keeps his disposal efficiency high. He can be a similar type winger to Bradshaw at melbourne and I feel the MC are trying to emulate that. Bradshaw is/was not a natural wingman, he started as an inside mid, but over the years played at HB and now the wing. He's also as slow as a wet week, much slower than Ross who has a 20 metre sprint time of sub 3 sec. The past 2 weeks they are rotating Macca, Pickett and Ross through the wings with Ross seemingly getting more time there (obviously trying to speed up the learning/development process). Pickett fwd and Macca sometimes back. I like what I'm seeing with this rotation.

Playing ok , doing his role ,however I’m not sure his doing better then Pickett would on a wing , interesting times fir JR coming up with players coming back

Game 50 coming up.
Took longer to get there than I expected, I like him in the team, can fill a few roles, and works his ring off.

I think we'd like to keep Pickett in the Castagna role
(Mansell played the Towner v Stewart too)

Agree with you on Dion. So if we move Ross inboard can we get someone else on the wing?

If Hopper's out and Nank's in, Miller goes back and Hugo to a wing maybe.

Theres was a large gap between his first and second halves I thought.

I think he holds his spot, but jeez I wish it wasn't on marlions wing,

although like snake pointed out,

the whole opposition backline are shitting themselves with marlion down there, he creates fumbles from the teamsheet

in dimma I trust

Had a poor game. Still found a way to impact in the 2nd half.

Persist.

Too slow to play outside and not good enough to play inside. Gets beaten one on one far too often.

Hard to believe he is the same player that was close to BOG in his first game against Port Adel. He got 25 touches, 5 tackles and 10 contested possessions. He is a million miles off that standard now.

Note how he is a beautiful kick of the footy. Set up is exemplary as is his delivery, usually spot on.
He shave always thought this and have been surprised over the years with people saying how bad his disposal is. Usually always to the benefit of the Bloke he is kicking to. He makes the odd Clanger as does every player, his get more noticed or mentioned for so,e reason though. I rate him highly, always have.
