We were wrong.Just not getting back to what he showed or more importantly what we thought he’d end up.
He is no where near the level of Coughlan. We quickly forget how good Coughlan was.Same type of player. Coughlan has a few more games under his belt
Thats the Dogs and Deez game plan in a nutshell big bodies inside getting it out to the Road Runners outside and off to the races. We need size around the ball who can get clearances and they need to give it to smart blokes who can use it. Lambert fits that mould better than anyone now that he doesn’t have to cover Dusty off.
Yep, I was in on him. He still reads like the type of player I want to draft. We were wrong.
"Clarkey, get us another kid like Jack Ross, but good this time."Yep, I was in on him. He still reads like the type of player I want to draft.
You asked for itIf I hear this one more time I will fair dinkum spew up.
Graham to a wing.I’d rather try him there instead of Graham
Think we tried that before and it was the same lack of speed issue. Worth another look with his gut running ability & it hasn’t worked with him playing high half forward anyway.Graham to a wing.
I wonder why we haven’t tried Graham & Ross into midfield roles & Cotchin/Edwards forward - especially with the issue of locking the ball inside 50.Graham to a wing.
Graham to a wing.
This. He's just not the same player of early 2019 for some reason. Chalk and cheese.Just not getting back to what he showed or more importantly what we thought he’d end up.
Either he plays midfield or the kid request to be traded.I think there’s no doubt he’s an inside mid.
However inside mids are an endangered species in this current evolution of the game.
Transitional mids is where the game is at now as Fremantle demonstrated yesterday.
Unfortunately for us we’ve loaded up heavily with inside players we hope replaces Cotch. Ross isn’t Cotch level. Nowhere near it but few are.
After yesterday I really hope rumours of Cerra are true..
