He can't play again. Just can't.

Play Nank next week as the sole ruckman.

Hampo's not a great but he has improved since Cartoon. Seriously would offer more to Nank than Soldo has.

I see no upside in Soldo....unless it's basketball.

I see plenty of potential upside. Not many ruckmen actually play much AFL at 21 years old. Played 7 games now. Way to early to make judgement on a ruckman.

Early days for him, especially where he has come from, but yeah he looked a million miles away today. Our big men stocks are very ordinary.
He has no upside. He has been playing football for 3 years. The odds of him making it are a billion to one. And for where we are now he is a massive liability.

Richmond the development club.
if we had 3 flags to our names in the last 10 years AKA hawthorn you could waste your time on him, but we aren't.
what a waste of time....

He's terrible. Nank wasn't a whole lot better though.

Need to find a ruckman who can take an overhead mark

rather them play Callum Moore as the second Ruck Forward tbh.

Least he can run jump like a bastard and mark

That's not a bad idea. Soldo offers nothing around the ground and Moore may do something. Concede the ruck and rove to their man.

We were using Soldo to give Nank some rest in the lead up to the finals and he has done that.

if that's the case then select someone who can play the game

Soldo with his lack of run and impact will be a liability on the expanses of Subiaco next week youd think.

He might have to miss

He's already made it Smoken, hasn't he?

That was until i realised we are playing the Frockers and not West Coast. :p :p

Against WCE it would possibly be worth a shot but not against Sandilands.

Soldo had 25 hitouts and wasnt bad.

his job is to release Nanks.

Its not his fault if Nanks does nothing when released.

stays, stays. stays

Is Hampson playing 60% of the game, like Soldo does, a better alternative?

Maybe.
Neither are particularly at ground level or around the ground. Nothing to chose between them except Soldo can take a mark - sometimes

... only because the cupboard is bare.

I'd almost play Hampson before soldo as back up to nank.

Not for me. Nank is a ruck not a forward, and playing Soldo just means we end up with a witches hat when he's on the ground (how many of those hitouts were to advantage, he was rubbish with that last week (16 hitouts only 2 to advantage last week, Nank was 26 and 9 and was mainly rucking McEvoy). I'm not sure if we can promote Moore but if we can't we need to think of something else. Soldo is only in the team because he's tall, no other reason. The 2 tall forward / ruck strategy has worked for much of the year, we need to go back to it and play another midfielder.

Exactly I recon he rucks better than Nackers. Toby can't get off the bloody ground!!
