Agree.
Erred in playing Maric senior in the practice games instead of this bloke.
Give him a go, he will contest.
get some games into him this year so the coaches can see what they have to work with.
 
Not sure he has the tank to play in the ruck all day at Senior level?
Might need both Ivan's to cover the Nank

His output at this stage may be little more than that big jaffa Brown we had a few years back, but that's still better than what we'll get from Grigg.

If we can get someone to play the Serbian national anthem at the centre bounces he'll bury Boyd.
 
its a a credit to this lad that we are contemplating his promotion. Coming into 2017 I would have said at best he was 2 years away. If can keep improving at this rate we may end up with a formidable double ruck option. Nank will be 25ish, Soldo 23ish in a couple of seasons time.
 
Good grief we are already getting desperate if Ivan"Sausage arms" Soldo is our best option. We might as well bring Richard Lounder out of retirement
 
This bloke is an utter dud. Cannot believe people are wanting him to play a senior game. Will be smashed in the AFL seniors just like Morris last week. Would rather see Chol have a go then this dud.

How much have you watched him in the VFL recently? He's been progressing in every game I have seen him in.

Agree. We cant develop kids that have played the game, let alone a kid that only started playing the game 3 years ago.
We will be down one if he plays...

Obviously didn't see the televised vfl game ::) , Chol couldn't catch a beach ball , soldo continues to show good signs , can take a grab and is a decent kick

Ivan Maric is Croatian so assume Ivan Soldo is also Croatian. Playing the Serbian National Anthem may not get the outcome you are desiring but would definitely fire a Croatian up!
