Spot on CC. 19 to 9 centre clearances their way indicates a lot of improvement needed at the centre bounce.
 
Btw, Cam Wood had 2 HOTA last night. Seems it's not his strong point either.

He has a strong point? When he was at the Pies I worked with a Collingwood supporter who said he'd rather Jake King play in the ruck for them than Cam Wood, and he really hated Kingy.
 
Agree there.

Against Wood and Minson you would have thought he would get the better if them both.

Poor one today.

Good pre season, no surgery but looks cooked already.

Yep, and who takes over ruck from next season? Geez...unless we trade for an up & comer (as should've happened last season), we're in deep sh!t with rucks.

We are stuffed. On what we are seeing how can he be number 1 ruck next year?

Strife big time next year, but this year we are already 2 games in. What will happen when comes up again the real better rucks of the league ?
 
Ivan has never been a jumper. Never been big on Hit outs to advantage either. Ivan is a workhorse.
 
Trent's mate Kreuzer as a Free Agent may look more appealing if Ivan slows down over the course of the season.

And everyone loves a workhorse, Zed ... but elite teams get more than that from their number one ruckman.
Love the big fella and his commitment to the cause, but the Tigers need some extra zing in the ruck division going forward.
And to think that Hampson may be the alternative????
 
Just needs a proper second ruck to help him out - most likely will be Vickery so Griffiths can concentrate on being proper second tall. Structurally it will make us a much better side.

As would getting rid of Chaplin for Astbury and Newman for Mcdonough.

You don't drop players like Ivan. The midfield need to learn how to serve it up to the Fwds. The blame lies with them IMO.
