I dont find what Clarko done to be nothing short of telling a insignificant dweeb what he actually thought of him and his silly questions to be honest. Good on Clarko.

Clarkson is simply a small man with serious anger management issues.

And a long record of it.

Kinda reminds me of Jakey, wonder if he'll ever coach? Got an excellent role model to learn from ;D

But he isn't the PM or opposition leader. He is just a footy coach!
And isn't that a public role with a duty to his members and supporters? He probably gets paid more than the PM and Abbott.

Alastair Clarkson suffers from small man's syndrome. Sawn-off, bad tempered little bag of sh!t who has a long line of these incidents, not only exclusive to journalists asking silly questions. Needs a good kick up his dwarf arse.

I know who the '*smile*' is.

Weak as absolute p!ss too: Look at :22 to see what a weak, poor excuse of a man Clarkson is:

"If the hat fits".......... ::)
Clarkson was 17 at the time, and you're carrying on like he did it last week.

I just love reading Carlton supporters whinging about what the big bad 17yr old did, and how he should be judged on that some 25 years later.

And for those who think Clarkson should've bitten his toungue, he did. The only reason you know about this, is because the camera was still rolling. If you honestly think that Clarkson is the only AFL coach who's had a crack at a journo once they thought the cameras were turned off, you're delusional.

"The Battle of Britain" was in 1987, November?

I think he was older than 17, 19 and a bit more like it
dob 27/4/1968.

I like the angry gnome. Good to see a bit of passion in footy.

The only incident involving him that I tohught was poor form was the incident at the junior footy match. Amongst adults, fair game. Bit of decorum in front the kids required at junior level though.

I understand you want to defend your coach but to excuse that dog act because he was only 19, well I know who is delusional. But I love te way tough Al *smile* himself and starts running when Johnston comes gunning for him. Gold.

I don't need to defend it. It is what it is. A 19yr old kid, doing the wrong thing 25 years ago.

Belting someone when their back's turned is an absolutely disgusting, *smile*-weak act, no matter the age. Remember this is the same man that had the gall to abuse Lloyd for his hit on Sewell in Round 22, 2009.

It didn't happen last week, but the sheer character of the man (or lack of) hasn't been done any favours given his track record of incidents. Telling a 19yo to 'f off' during a junior game of footy says it all.

A-grade flog.

indeed it is what it is, the video says it all. And as you say that was 25 years ago.....and Al still can't control his emotions. Abusing reporters, abusing kids umpiring, smashing a hole in the coaches box....what have I missed?

I like Clarkson - nice mix of guile, determination and fierce competitive streak. No problem with him telling that clown reporter exactly what his father should have told him 15 years ago.

Clarkson's temper gets off the leash sometimes. Replace Clarko with Push Up in that video, do you think it would have been any different? On his recent misdemeanor "nothing to see here move along". After the presser last week and the stupid questions being asked of Lids I reckon he a Dimma would have liked to let off a bit of steam.

Clearly a very good Coach, no argument there.

Clearly has a anger management problem which has been evident since the London incident and right through his career in footy. Some people have a problem controlling their anger and responding appropriately at times, he is one of them.

Neither here nor there on the debate re Clarko. Don't care.

But I have to take you up on this one. Don't recall Push Up ever being a dirty sniper. He faces up front on. Don't degrade Jakey to support your argument.

I reckon Dimma would have just laughed it off.

Don't tell me Clarkson is at it again? Obviously it's just a misconstrued chat because Clarko doesn't have any anger management issues......

Stepping away from his coaching role to deal with physical and emotional health issues.
Probably relating to the clown act debacle at glenferrie with their investigation into racial issues when Clarkson was at the helm.
Ratten to take over.

I had to check the fixture to make sure we weren't playing norf this week. That's generally how they time these upheavals...

Clarkson has always had anger management issues.

From a human point of view this step is positive for him because he recognises it and is seeking help.
