Yeah maybe, but whats your expectations?
What do you want them to say - a specific return date? Somethong to mark in your calendar?
Thats not realistic though is it. Not how bodies are.

Its not a hamstring tear 3 to 4 week injury.
We know that.
It takes time to progress and rebuild, so it will be a rough timeline until its closer and he is doing more training.

Well, we are getting closer, surely Meehan has a fair idea of when he's likely to get back on the park. The whole year has nearly gone by.
Huh? In my calendar yeah nah all previous strength and conditioning coaches shared this info (rough return times).

Rough return times are rough. So this guy doesnt give it for a kid who has had setbacks.
Seems to be a lot of uproar for a rough date that dont mean much

These updates are just a complete waste of time. Surely the club understands that “we” fanatics desire more detail. Why can’t they elaborate a little more on each players situation? It’s not asking too much IMHO.

Didn’t Gibcus injure his hammy in early Jan ?

I had one of my ankles fused in mid Jan & I’m looking more of a chance of getting a game than him

Gibcus's first hammy in mid January was serious and required surgery and was always going to be about 12 weeks IMO regardless on what they were saying, he then got a severe infection about 5 weeks post surgery that set him back 2 weeks before he could start running again, then on the verge of of playing a half in the VFL if he got through training, (which he failed to do), he did his hamstring in the same leg reportedly in a different spot but supposedly not as serious as the first. This re-injury/new injury occurred on the 11th May so Josh is 31 days into his new rehab program but yet to join the main group in football or skills work :(

“It’s not as significant as his injury in January, and is in a different spot, but given his young age and long future in the game, we will be taking a cautious approach with his recovery- prioritising the long term.

Just ran Meehan's injury report through Google Translator:

Cumbo: the woos is whinging about a sore calf. Soleus is the only muscle I remember in that area so will say its that. The *smile* can still move around so will say he's doing ok but we might rest him this week in case what he's saying is real. In which case he will probably be our for a few months (but don't publish that bit)

Soldo: he's whinged all year about his foot but hasn't whinged this week so we think he could be available, finally

Nank: the big woos came off whinging about a corkie. We said what a woos and corkies are common at AFL level, you're the skipper, so get on with it.

Hopper: did a soleus (o my claf sub muscle I remember from uni). He 's whinging less about it so expect him to be back after the bye.

Lynch: he hurt his foot. The membership guys told me to keep pumping up his possible involvement coming into finals. So he's going well and we look to see him after the bye

Campbell: *smile* knows what his problem is. He's young so should work itself out. Hopefully we see him after the bye
:mhihi

Easy on the facts there Julius. You're making it sound rational.
