Omg you people are a joke. One loss and sack the coach. We will be right in it come September.

the fact is we have been beaten twice in a row by this mob. We played our style which doesn't stand up to their chip and side pass.

instead of chasing Roughead or Martin from Brisbane , they settled for Weller.
wheres the Tall?
we are becoming the next footscray. Smurfs

I thought Bucks had the better of Dimma tonight, however some of the comments are just laughable, 18-4 last season, after a flag that is, then won the 2 JLTS and the first game , but now he can’t coach ffs . I didn’t agree with the changes or stuff like the Sidebottom getting so much space, however Dimma has the right to expect more from the 22 he puts out there . Everyone at Punt rd needs to lift after that performance

Dropping Balta and playing Riewoldt in the ruck was a shocking call corn chips. Hardwick needs to cop it for that. That was amateur stuff.

I think we can cut the selectors slack on the Balta decision. I am guessing it was sold to Noah as he is being groomed for the intercept role and they would 'train' that at VFL level.

Probably need to re-assess and throw Noah in the deep end sooner rather than later.

Thought Jack rucking worked OK. He hurt his wrist trying to take a hanger in the goal square.

So why isn’t it Caracella’s fault the gameplan has been apparently found out? Illogical.

This is not Caracella's game plan we played tonight but a variation of Hardwicks 2016 game plan.

The issue is allowing so many loose men, especially over the back after quite a lot of slow build up play by the Pies. Technically that's Dimma's bailiwick but I hope Blake lends a hand there.

Ah so Dimma's wrestled control back from Blake and he's put the handbrake back on? Got ya.

I'll give you a hint, it's the same gameplan as 2017 and 2018 except our small forwards applied no pressure whatsoever and the Pies had uncontested marks galore. We had 15 tackles to half time.

Has Hardwick ever had a plan B?
I cant remember in his 9 years he has been able to turn the tables on a team, maybe the swans at SCG a couple seasons back.
not many. technically he struggles.
they were moving the ball sideways EVERY time they got it. nothing changed in 3 qtrs. very hard to sit and watch it.

Now we find out how good Dimma is.

Seems a stupid comment about a premiership coach, but the best coaches need to have more than one trick up their sleeve.

Dimma is the implementer, culture and man management guy.

I think Blake primarily needs to figure this out together with Dimma and Leppa and Co.

It might just be that with most defenders actually playing a slightly different role they are out of sync, Very similar (bad) game last year at Adelaide. Thought our backs panicked with the aerial ball a lot, bar Grimesy.

Can't keep going into game with 1 ruck and backup is a Riewoldt McIntosh Rioli or Grigg anymore
Also can't have 1 tall in the forward line surrounded by midgets anymore
We're destroying Nankervis and Rielwodt to an extent tonight
Need minimum 2 tall forwards Riewoldt & Lynch in the forward line at all times
Nankervis if we're to prolong his career needs a Balta to give him a break and allow Nankervis to kick a few goals when not rucking

In his post match, he basically drew a line through playing two ruckmen. Balta back in up forward I guess. I wouldn't mind us playing both Soldo and Nank though. Think Nank can be damaging up forward as he showed against Carlton.
