Grigga

A bit sad hearing this. He is the first of the 2017 flag heroes to leave.

A shame he finished like this. Had a fine career.

Ps..... thankyou Andrew Collins

Grigg getting plenty of love and rightly so, but spare a thought for all the players who weren't lucky enough to be at the club at the right time who've faded into obscurity.

Grigg's ~170 games is a significant innings, but if e.g. Townsend never plays another senior match, he'll be remembered forever for 19 games of bruising, straight kicking goodness.

Thanks Grigga and well done on a great career!

I’ll always remember you as a Premiership player and a great “Richmond man”! :clap

Oh and some of those helicopter goals! :rofl

Well loved by everyone ..a champion..huge part of the flag. Belongs in the Richmond pantheon.

Well played Shaun.

It’s been great watching you grow into a true tiger premiership champion.

Hope you can continue at the club in an official capacity going forward

Grigga, you're the man!
I will never forget your gut running, down the wings, into the forward line and kicking those goals.

Inspiration to the team, the way you trained and represented the Yellow and Black "brand", you have given all and for that, I'll thank you and wish you and your family the very best.
GO TIGERS!

Every week, game after game Grigga turned up and gave 100%. Ran his heart out, contest after contest he made himself available as the outlet player due to hard work.

Dimma says tag, no problem. Play on a wing, no problem. Ruck , no problem.

Ultimate team player and a Tiger premiership player.

Club great well done. Interesting fact is that we will never see the 2017 team play together again which I thought we might. Shame.

Classy bloke, well done & thanks for the years of commitment to the club Grigga! Here’s hoping he’s on the coaching staff in 2020

I think he epitomises the club culture . Develop as a player, develop as a person and remember those that support you whilst doing something that you love. I hope that he can still do the "Chronicles of Kamdym " segment. Thankyou Grigga ....You are one hell of a bloke to put the teams interests ahead of your own. May you continue to spend time around the RFC influencing others and enjoy your first non pre season in years! :clap :clap :clap

He came a long way.

From one of the shittest clubs to a premiership club.

Made a smart choice.

Would have been a lock for the quinella with Houli to be first to retire but it's a shame that he just fell off the cliff with this injury ... Was he carrying it last year...didn't look like it?
