Goodbye Mabior Chol

More energy than Griffiths.

More competitive than Griffiths.

More dangerous than Griffiths.

When it hits the ground he is still in the contest. Always looks like he could make something happen. You don't get that with Griff.

Pulled up a few times. I hate that. If he increases his work rate he might be something but at least he's shown signs.

Would like to see marks on the lead and he doesn't realise that he is in great position to mark the ball in packs too.

Good game , and something to work with. Needs to go for marks with 2 hands though

love his ability to back up in a contest just needs some time to build a tank as mentioned. Tracking really well. I'd be happy to see him line up round 1.

Promise
Build a tank and rid himself of that tendency as some of our big men have, going up one hand.

Hate that!

But I would list Soldo as I feel we will need a back up for Nankervis this year as it showed the first half Grundy got the better of him but he fought back. He will need help and support.

Loooong way to go, however some really special signs, who knows what he will be ?
Yep. Kids got some cat like reflexes and second efforts. Got a lot of work to do yet in building a tank n learning where n how to create himself some time n space for the easy possession. Also got some work to do on understanding how big and heavy he's getting to be and how to use that to impact contests.

Hoping to see him get some senior games this year, just to keep tempting and challenging him. Kid's fun to watch when he gets himself involved in the contest.

If you're going to buy stocks in somebody then Mabior is the one.
Very good signs from him & loved his game. Clearly improving.
Ben Griffiths time may well be up.
Can any on the VFL watchers tell us how Cholly goes in the ruck? I'm curios to know if he's doing ok or not.

If Griff continues to have concussion issues (which seems likely), we're either going to need to persist with Elton, or have a proper look at Soldo or Cholly.

Chol has all the attributes. He is extremely athletic, skilful, and has serious x-factor.

But he's asleep through the whole game. Always waits till the last second to react, tends to jump late, and seems surprised when he jumps up on top of someone's shoulders and the ball is about to land on his chest. He also does a whole lot of slow jogging around the contest.

If he can switch on a little, work on his intensity, he could be anything. Or he could be Vickery.

Thanks CT. Is he (or Soldo) worthy of a run with the big boys?

I agree with Coburg Tiger re Chol, i would be playing Soldo if a spot opens up, watched most of the games he has played & gets better each one
