His iron play is superb. I'm not a massive fan of him personally but he has the tools to compete and win a major, all mental for mine with Allenby.

You may well be right re UK Lads and as Azzamoot mentioned Rose has to be a big show, speaking of Rose did anybody catch the bull *smile* that Jim Nance rolled out when Rose won in the US the other month .Big Cat Lover said:Love the British Open, think the locals are flying and a UK victory likely. Maybe one of the Molinari brothers to break through at odds.

Speaking off the Molinari brothers a good mate of mine was in the Italian amateur team with them both, anyway when the younger one won the Us Am he invited my mate for a game at Augusta leading up to the Masters , my dumb ass mate declined as he had a couple of pro ams on the Saphire coast
This is probally not as bad , however another mate played the Open a couple years back and had the oppurtunity to have a practice round with Villegas, Scott and Norman , however his "new" caddy said that was in his original plan....AZZAMOOT said:YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :duh :duh :duh
As for US commentators....mute. Johnny Miller is often painful.

Looks like another disappointing major for the Aussiestannerztigers said:Poor day for the Aussies. Sendon is 5 off the pace, Allenby 6 off the pace and the rest of the big name Aussies 9-10 off the pace.
Blistering start by McIlroy at -9. Woods hovering at -5.

AZZAMOOT said:Not yet mb, just wait til the wind blows in the coming days. McIlroy & Daly are in great positions but the good links players will rise to the top. I expect Allenby to climb & Goggin as well.
