He is a interesting case Tiger. Clary a once in a lifetime sportsmen but he has done pretty well at maintaining a distance from the media. He sits with Ali and Jordan IMO.
Probably with those two and Babe Ruth.

Agree, but it would be a lot more exciting if there were opposition players who had the moxie and got their mojos working in the final round. When Tiger leads into the final day the current mob all shut up shop.

That is something that irks me a bit - the way so many guys wilt in front of him. Bring back Arnie and Jack. And maybe Ben as well.

.... and Lee Trevino. Supermex would be in Tiger's ear all day trying to put him off his game. Players these days are far too timid.

To quote his old man "wait till he brings his A game"

Earl Woods said that after he won his first Masters in 97? an most laughed the thing is when T Woo brings his A game Jack could have talked trash like Trevino an all it would have done was made the margin bigger.

Pebble Beach US open 2000-1? that is the most dominant display I have ever seen .

Can you imagine been the best by a mile at every level growing up i.e Els, Fat Phil an then all of a sudden knowing even if you play the best you possibly can it still aint enough if Tiger plays Ok

Just saw a bit of the Ewan Porter interview,I was very impressed with this bloke over the summer ,I think he may well be very very good

Good to see Johnny Daly refuse to give in to the wishes of other's.
Nothing like spending a "Rain Delay" in the Hooter's Tent , having a few Beers with the Fan's and autographing Chicks Butt's to pass the time away.

You've gotta love him , he's certainly "One of a Kind".

Then , get's the Tee Time wrong for the Pro-Am before Arnie's Event and is Disqualified before a Ball is hit.

Classic Stuff

Just heading out for the district championships(3 man ambrose) looking to beat our record of 17 under, anybody done better in golfs purest form of the game :hihi

One of the worst swings i've seen. Same with his putting style which involves a massive forward press and subsequent de-lofting of the putter.

He rang me late on Friday night after his first round complaining about his swing again. Geez. I told him to check where he was aiming. Seems to have worked.

Bloody Woodsie. He’s my most high maintenance pupil by far.

Another victory to Tiger Woods, could he win the slam this year?

He'll win the US Open (it's at Torrey Pines of all places), The Open and, if he is going for the slam, the PGA. But I reckon he's vulnerable at Augusta. He was very lucky last night. He one-putted the first five holes but only one was for a birdie. He can't keep nailing 15fters for par...can he? I wouldn't go as far as laying him at Augusta but I'm certainly going each-way on some smokeys...Trahan, Mahan, Sabbatini, Immalman.
