Shuffler had 34 putts in the 3rd round! He will have a nervous breakdown soon.
Don’t you love the way the commentators though go on and on about how good he’s putting, his stroke looks great, the work he’s been doing blah blah blah. Absurd.

*** that Dan Hicks is a repetitive softo sap.

He is first in GIR and 45th in putting this tournament.

This round he has 3 putted from 39ft. And missed from 13ft for birdie, 11ft for eagle, 6ft for birdie

But he has made a few putts as well and is 4 under for the round!

He’d easily be the best player in the world if he got his putter working even reasonably eg top 50. He was 162nd in 22-23.

As he misses again from under 8ft!

His ball striking is off the charts good

He has hit 61/66 GIR this tournament. Kirk has hit 51/63 and leads him by 4.

I imagine Shuffles proximity to the hole is also the best in the world. As he sets up another 9ft'er for birdie.

Shuffles hit 17/18 greens but had 30 putts to shoot 6 under. He missed 8 putts inside 13ft.

Glad Kirk won. Been through a bit. Enjoyed Kisner commentating.

How bad is this weather in Victoria ? Another year of *smile* weather. Been a terrible Spring and Summer again so far. 3 years of atrocious weather for mine. Freezing cold, wind, endless rain. Ffs…totally over Victorian weather.

Need to get to QLD more Red.

Where the sun is shining and the ball skips down the fairway, not plugs in it.

Just gotta tolerate the humidity, which can be a challenge.

Yeah I’m hearing ya. Number of family members live in Queensland.

I love Victoria, but anyone who says we don’t have bad weather is kidding themselves. Normally doesn’t worry me, but the last 3 years have been horrendous. Bitterly cold and windy. Copious amounts of rain, day on day. And if we do get the odd decent day, it’s usually followed with storms, flooding, hail damage etc.

Its bad.

Totally agree. We have a pool and its essentially useless unless you have a heating system. Melb weather really does suck. We have about 2 months of decent weather a year.

I’ve always liked the change of seasons. But all we’ve had for 3 years is cold, wind and rain. The 2022 Autumn-Winter was just insane. Rained nearly every day it seemed. Freezing. (I think I read 2022 was the second highest rainfall on record for Victoria.)

But it just hasn’t stopped.

I play on a sandbelt course and we’ve got trees that are dying from too much water. Course has been closed numerous times due to repeat on repeat heavy downpours. We’ve constantly got the air raid siren going because of lightening. Huge gums being blown over etc. Everyone at the club is sick of it - especially the greens staff. Feel sorry for them.

I know the news services are slow up there man ;)

Conversation with a mate who lives in Brisbane a couple of days ago.

And my favourite pie shop Yatala Pies had to close their doors after Xmas 🥧

And of course Cyclone Oswald Australia Day weekend 2013, when I lived up there for 5 years 😟

How’s those poor bastrds in Rochester. They still haven’t even fixed half the properties there from the last flood and now they’re being told to evacuate again.

Woods ends 27 years with Nike. Off to Golden Breed.
A hell of a round 🏌️‍♂️:eyes

I think their share price has dropped by a bit last few years and no one really got into buying their golf equipment when they were on the market. So they stopped making them 2016/17 🫤

Mat Griffin shot a bogey free 61 in the Heritage Classic today. He had 28 on the back nine which included 8 birdies in a row, a pretty fair effort that.
