Australian golf identity Andrew Kirby has set tongues wagging online after revealing on Friday on X a home grown star is poised to join the LIV circuit for 2024 and beyond.

FYI. I wonder who if true? I seriously doubt it would be MWL although LIV would know how marketable he is now and could become a genuine world superstar with huge Asian appeal as well as PGA/DP; US and Euro appeal. Think he's super-keen to compete at the highest level now he has just secured his PGA card.
Possibly Herbie? Has he changed his mind following prior statements with the promise if a huge pay-packet with easier competition than the big tours? Or could Scott have relented, given he must be starting to realise his winning days are probably past, so why not take a huge retirement deal. Or Jason D ... with 5 kids now?

Not that any of them are short of a $ as it is. But, might make sense for Herbie, especially as Jed Morgan didn't make the grade for Smith's Aussie team and got cut, trying to re-qualify. There's a vacancy.

Rumours that not only Finau is going to LIV, and an Australian, but TWO Australians are going (reckon A Scott is a prime candidate) and also….wait for it…wait for it….the WUG as well !

Imagine the WUG hitting a bad shot on a LIV party hole. He’ll go berserk blaming the fans. Actually, given the crass nature of LIV and its spectators full stop, he’ll be going beserk on every hole !

Went out to Cathedral last week , like that course more each time I see it .

A mate stayed with Cam Smith on the Tuesday night , Cam was in fine form I’m told , even doing a bit of complimentary bar work :)).

Wouldn’t be surprised if the invitational becomes a huge event on the calendar

Yes, because at the moment I've got very little interest in watching golf, they can all go and get stuffed.
 
Crowded leaderboard at the Sentry, including Jason Day Spa. Not sure about those new fat boy trousers though. Look like something you’d use for ten pin bowling.
