They’ll right a movie about the Block man
That was pretty cool what he achieved this week.
Seems a really likeable guy.
Kupkakes ! Too good. Some really good putting by Hovland but as I said yesterday, questioned whether that across the line and over the top swing would stand up. He carved everything way right off the tee.
That hole in one by Block was awesome.
Good course. Good Championship. Wish the PGA would hold it on traditional courses like this more often, and not the uninspiring second rate ones they often do eg Valhalla (which they own) in 2024, Quail Hollow 2025 etc.

Block has been given an exemption to play in Fort Worth next week
I love what Michael Block did in the PGA, here's a good article about him.

“I’m just a club professional, right? I work. I have fun. I have a couple boys that I love to play golf with. I have a great wife. I have great friends. I live the normal life. I love being at home. I love sitting in my backyard. My best friend in the world is my dog. I can’t wait to see him. I miss him so much it’s ridiculous, my little black lab. But, yeah, it’s been a surreal experience, and I had this weird kind of sensation that life is going to be not quite the same moving forward, but only in a good way, which is cool.”

Hopefully Red's knees are in recovery and we get the PRE PGA results through at some stage so I can celebrate another 4th place finish.
I think BT ended up with a comfortable victory, I think he may even have ended up under par overall - which would be a great effort.

Well done Beets. Getting 7 thru the cut was critical. Hovland and several solid performances from others was too much to counter.
The battle for Runner Up was interesting. Miles - after a late entry - just holds off both Leonardo and Sammy (who makes a late charge with a -7 final round) by 1 point.
Spoof....well old man you better show us something a lot better at Hoylake where the British Open is being held. Have a look at yourself.
Check these scores carefully. I did them under a bit of duress whilst taking substances to control that duress. Whey hey !
