Which will suit many of the top, in form US PGA players, playing at those times, of course: Finau, Spieth, Burns, Homa, Scheffler, Zalatoris, Morikawa. The first LIV player is D. Johnston about 48 minutes earlierr than Finau's group. Sure, along with several Anglos like McIlroy and several other UK golfers like Fleetwood, Fitzpatrick, J. Rose, T. Hatton (America's closest ally after all; maybe biggest TV market outside the US too?), also Tom Kim (most popular and exciting Korean) and C. Connors (honest Canadian) benefit too.

I'm sure that's just coincidental. The Augusta Club wouldn't know anything about the weather report!

Yep, I know what you mean. I had Schauffele in my team, but took him out to put J Day in, I backed him a couple of weeks ago at $41. I'm sweating on how Hovland is going to go around the greens, and Theegala could shoot 66 or 86.

The weather may also be a factor. Or it may not. Lots of rain, cold weather predicted for 2nd round, 2pm onwards. Probably be as dry as a chip. Who knows.

Looked at him as a low cost option. Along with Kirk and Moore.

Had another entirely different team comprising of Thomas and Burns. Bet it ends up going better.

Poor old Drofgusta got ripped apart in the 1st round. Greens look very soft. Dunno why. Will have to speak to the superintendent. Not good enough.

Scooter Scott off to a good start. Tenacious and Cougar will be happy with that. Like Koepka’s shoes.

Interesting first round at Augusta.

Rahm plays an unbelievable round, 9 under from 17 holes after a double on the first from a 4 putt. Hit 17 greens in regulation and chipped in on the other.

Koepka and Scheffler's play was a class above but couldn't quite nail the putter.

I'm tipping the winner comes from one of those three.

tigerman has an almighty day out with Hovland, Kopeka, Day and Woodland. His best 6 leads the battle for the Red Jacket. BT Tiger catches a break after the withdrawal of Will Zalatoris which sees him allocated the next player down with the same value - which is Sam Burns who shoots -4.
