The intention was best 6 scores each round.
Ok - Update below.
The running total is the first round score plus the best six second round scores. I should have had a sub-total cell for ease of caclulation but there isn't. Hopefully I have done the sums correctly.
I have included details of who has missed the CUT.
Red had an even par round but more importantly got through the cut with 6 players. TBR, Tenacious & Sammy got 5 thorugh but the rest are a mix of 4 and 3. We will be hoping the ave field score aint too bad.
STC held onto second place at even par, 9 shots adrift, but will lean heavily on his 4 remaining players.
Hard to see anyone challenging Red at this stage.
As for the tournament, its setup pretty well with some star quality atop the leaderboard. Listening to Sheffler talk after his 2nd round he sounded a bit slighted that he wasn't mentioned a lot pre tournament given he is world No.1. Has a bit of a point to prove.
Should be great early morning viewing. Hope Morikawa can upstage the big names.

Oh it’s doing my head in Miles. Guy just does not shut up. I’m watching the second round now and he just said “The more I see of this 5th hole the more I love it” and then went on a meaningless description of why. Who cares you idiot - you are a nobody ! Just shut up !
On another note, looong time ago me and my mates wrote to the Country Club at Brookline and asked if we could play there. They wrote back and said sure, if you know a member. No problem. Unfortunately we didn’t know anyone but at least they were nice enough to respond !
Well, I also heard him praising the colour (I am pretty sure it was him) of the beautiful "Primrose Yellow" clubhouse. That is an awful colour. Vomitous.
Me neither but I saw a highlight of the fella hitting the 3 wood from the carpet in the tent and Faldo was calling.
Watching the coverage Todd Sinnott is 2 under for his round and back to even for the tournament yet have not seen him play a shot!!! But they show every nondescript yank who are 6 or 7 or 8 over the card.
