Golf

Bless you, X, shooting 11-under in rd 4 and not winning.

I could pay off the national debt in what I’ve lost betting on you.

Will go again, obviously, at the PGA.
He was 3 over after his first 23 holes of the tournament too. Played his last 49 holes in 26 under.

I remember we were talking about the lowest handicaps we'd seen. Played Wodonga on the weekend which is nice but not super difficult and saw a scorecard from Zach Murray, who is now a young pro on the Asian Tour.

Scored 41 points of a handicap of +9, 58 off the stickoo_O

The good thing about a failing memory is life is full of repeat surprises. :ROFLMAO:

I wasn't as taken with the score as I was with the +9 which I assume was into double figures after that round. Extraordinary handicap.

I'd love to watch the matchplay at his club when he drew a 32 marker.

Lee x 2 ! KH Lee and Australia’s Minjee Lee.

Bunch of dhead Texans. Could barely raise a polite clap for KH. Bloke played outrageously good/clutch golf and has gone back to back and there’s near silence after he putts out on 18.

Super glad Spray It Spieth didn’t win.

Happy to have a crack at it Red. I assume you didn't make up the player ratings but sourced them somewhere?
You’re seeking my intellectual property ? What are you prepared to pay for it ?

156 Players in the field according to the Tee Times. 52 groups of 3.

If I was running this one, thinking of changing up the rules just a little to get a few more through the cut with a full compliment?

For example you leave the total salary cap number at 300 but you can take up to 8 players with your best 6 scores counting. So you can take 6,7 or 8 players but total cap is still 300.

Thoughts/feedback?:peepwall

Sounds fair enough although it doesn’t really matter coz you’re only diluting your top end picks and their chances to get through, or you’re picking an extra couple of very low end picks who aren’t likely to get through.

Not sure it changes much. 6 players gets you an average value of “50” to get through whilst 8 players gets you a lesser average value of “37.5.”

To achieve what you’re trying to (ie get a full compliment of players through) don’t you have to go the other way and reduce the selections whilst keeping the 300 cap eg 4 players ?

Then of course you run into problems though with everyone selecting, roughly, the same players.
