Nope. They'll play it at RM won't they?

Hasnt been confirmed. It is apparently up for some sort of tender ?

But them, KH and Yarra Bend would have to be the obvious choices wouldnt you think ?

I think the Americans would prefer Yarra Bend to RM

would tiger still get his appearance $$$$'s for an event like this?

I don't think he gets appearance money on the US Tour at all. I could be wrong though.

I havent ,is that Alex Mercer? Had a seminar with him once riverting ::) :sleeping

lol, I can imagine golf seminars are thrilling at the best of times. Glad I've never been to one.

I heard two commentators talking about Baddeley's new coaches when he won not long ago, and they were based somewhere in the US, so I don't think it was Mercer. I'll try and look it up. They showed a few slow mo's of Badds new and old swings side by side and they were remarkably different, then they showed Badds and Elk side by side which was unbelievably similar. Wish I taped it now.

Dont think the AGU has any involvement does it ? Isnt this a PGA run event ? Not sure....

Yeah you're right, the USPGA run it, I was trying to be facetious. Poor effort really.

And Michael beat me to it, but Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett are the coaches that Badds credits with his new found ball striking abilities. I guess Billy Graham is the dress and speech coach is he Michael?

If Badds credits God again for his success on the course, then I may need to have a chat to Jayfox and see if I can get some help.
Badds certainly putts like he doesnt have a care in the world

Judging by Toolbox's posts on the Christianity thread, I reckon he'd just have you more confused Michael Crawford.

We need to arrange another outing. My turn to host.

Be careful. You've got a history of this injury and I'd hate to see a hot spot or something like it force you back into recovery yet again.

Yes in the past I have pushed myself way to hard to get back on the park ,but trust me there will be none of that this time

The Masters is reputably the most sort after major yet-the field of 170 is clearly the weakest( this include 20 first time invitees-most ranked lower than Senden, 5 amateurs and 27 past champions)-take John Senden for example. The current Australian Open champion is ranked 53 in the world, has started 8 times on the PGA tour this year and made 8 cuts, top 10 twice-one of which was second, he is ranked 26th on PGa tour to this stage of the year and won over $700,000. Yet he does not get an invite to the event--now that is an absolute disgrace

The fields is approximately 100, not 170, but agreed it's a pretty rough deal for Senden. I think top 50 on the world ranking qualify automatically?

Ok Gentleman an Ladies an Red ;D.

I think since we have so many Golfing Guru's on Pre we should run a Major Predictor Competion or MPC

Of couse Im open for suggestions but I think we should pick 2 players, one not been ranked in the top 20 an also we pick the leading aussie.

10 points for winner
5 points runner up
3 points 3rd
2 points 4th
1 point 5th

5 points leading Aussie

Winner of the innagural MPCwill get a dozen Pro V 1s after the 4th major.

CC, how about this? We run it as a $5 a go comp at our club for every major and it's really popular. We get centrebet's odds, and you pick a team of 3 players whose odds add up to 101.00 or more. You're score is their combined score. If one of you're players misses the cut he gets double his first 2 days score. We could then add up all the scores for our teams for the year.

BTW, I'll chuck in another dozen ProV's or HX-56's or whatever the winner wants.
