The moment I saw Badds.com hanging around, I knew he was a “Roller”and that he was gonna make a meal of it after his victory.
Appleby: too many disasters e.g. 17th on Saturday, 1st on Sunday and 12th on Sunday. Thrashing it out on Sunday in a major paired with Woodsie will be a good experience for him though.
Woodsie: didn’t even have his B game which is testimony to the guy’s ability to still be able to run it so close.
Johnson: deserved to win. Made fewer mistakes with some clutch putting to boot.
Goosen: understand that it was cold and windy, but I would have thought that with his power and the situation that he was in, that he’d go for it on 13 and 15.
Is it just me, or has the Masters lost some of its gloss over the last few years ? Ever since they grew rough on the course I reckon its lost a bit of its magic – so to speak. In years gone past there was something special and unique about such a magnificent course with such pristine fairways and no rough anywhere. Do they really need the rough now that they’ve lengthened it by a long way, and finally woken up to the fact that the best way to protect the scoring is to firm things up a bit around the greens ?
