It’s getting good and we are still only in the third round, Putter going cold for Lieshman it appears. Finding myself barracking for anybody but Reed.

Agree with all.

Can't stand Reed for some reason

Comes across as an arrogant flog.

I think it may be up to Rory to save the day. Leishman hasn’t played bad he just appears to not have adapted to the slower pace of the greens

I've put the mozz on Smith he has bogied 17&18.
Bit like a young draftee , once he gets a bit of size about him ;D, very impressive player isn’t he, can see him doing well in a US open.

Reed is just passionate, I used to dislike him but Ryder cup performances have bought me around. He’s playing super golf .

On the Ryder cup, I’m not sure if I’m the only one , however I’ll generally be “rootin” for the yanks in a lot of sports , however not in the Ryder cup, I find myself always on the Europeans side, one of the most underrated events in sport.

Tippin Reed will be goin in with the mindset of head to head match play against Rory and there starting all square.

Where's it being played this year? I've followed Smith closely since the US Open at Chambers Bay, he's very consistent for a still young player.

Just googled it , it’s at Shinnecock Hills about an hour from New York City, funny thing I was checking out Shinnecock Hills a couple of days a go as a possible major venue to play when I’m there in October, highly unlikely I think as it’s a very private club. If we don’t make the GF I’m hopefully going to play Pebble though.

Cmon Rory

I really thought Rory was going to win in 2016, a bad 3rd round cost him badly. I reckon this might be his year, he has been putting the lights out for the last month or so.

Those US Open courses are brutal. I was lucky enough to play Pinehurst No. 2 about 6 weeks before the Open was held there back in 2014.

It was already in Open condition. Pins were in day 4 locations. Scored horribly despite the help of a local caddy. Great experience though

Hope so, I think the pack may be to far back, be great to see Fowler break through, seems a good fella, however I think it’s down to 2, anything could happen with those 2, Reeds played superbly and things have gone his way, going to be a great last day you’d think

I see a lot of Masters tours have playing Pinehurst as part of the deal, how good is it Mopsy ?

I thought Reed came across reasonably humble in his interview

Absolutely sensational CC. We played no's 2, 4 and 8. All were exceptionally good courses. Played a couple of courses around the Augusta area too on days we weren't at the Masters.

One of the tour directors is a member at Sage Valley so we could have played there too. I didn't as it meant missing out on a day at Augusta. Next time!

Yes Reed did come across well, still prefer Rory to win though.

Awesome Mopsy.

I may sneak up to Bethpage Black when I’m in NYC this year, it’s the public course that had the US open about 10 years a go

Bethpage Black would be awesome to play. Very tough. There and Pebble Beach would be a golfing trip to brag about! I would love to get to Chambers Bay. A couple of those par 3's with the massively elevated tees would be great to experience.

Two poor drives off the first tee from McIlroy and Reed, McIlroys was like a lofted off drive.
